When a quote is requested through the online form or via email, and the job is quoted by Celestant Pty Ltd. The quote is to be approved by signature or in writing via email. Approval of artwork proofs must be completed within two weeks after “The Client” has revived Celestant Pty Ltd’s quote. All quotes are valid for 30 days only and may be subject to change after this period.
Price & Payment
GST and other taxes and duties that may be applicable shall be added to the Price except when they are expressly included in the Price. Time for payment for the Goods shall be of the essence and will be stated on the invoice or any other forms. If no time is stated then payment shall be due on the date of the invoice. Payment will be made by cash, or by cheque, or by bank cheque, or by direct credit, or by any other method as agreed to between “The Client” and Celestant Pty Ltd.
When you have placed an order with Celestant Pty Ltd, you will be sent a ‘Soft Proof’ which is also known as a ‘Digital Proof’ which is sent via email as a PDF for your approval. If you choose to approve the Soft Proof, the job will continue and will be sent to print. If you choose to reject the Soft Proof, you will need to explain why you rejected the proof, and contact us to resupply artwork.
Trimming of Printing
All printing products are trimmed. Registration of printing products may shift up to 1.5mm in any direction, therefore our Artwork Guidelines should be properly adhered to minimize risk of trimming affecting the look of the print. No reprints at our cost will be printed.
Printing turnaround will vary. The current median turnaround time for most printing products is 7-10 business days. This is not a guarantee but a guide. This is from the time of accepting the proof, to the time when “The Client” receives the order. Design time is extra. Celestant Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for loss or damages due to printing being delivered after this time. It is the client’s responsibility to allow plenty of time for preparing artwork, printing and delivery.
Celestant Pty Ltd will not be held liable for printing products that are lost, damaged or delayed when delivered by post or courier. All items being delivered to a residential address will be left at the door in the event of no one being home.
You will receive a ‘Soft Proof’ by email which you will need to approve before printing can commence. Celestant Pty Ltd will print whatever you submit, and Celestant Pty Ltd is not responsible for artwork mistakes. No reprints at our expense will be printed. It is your responsibility to ensure that any artwork that is submitted is not in violation of any copyright laws. Celestant Pty Ltd assumes that your artwork is legally yours or you have the correct permission to print it. Celestant Pty Ltd reserves the right to make changes to your artwork without your consent to avoid printing problems that can be foreseen to happen. This will rarely change the design, but if it does it will be evident in the proof you receive. Celestant Pty Ltd will rasterize all submitted DIY Artwork at standard print quality resolution before printing.
If after viewing your email proof you would like to resubmit your artwork, we will send you a new ‘Soft Proof’. Alternatively we can make your requested changes for you from $65.00 inc gst and then email you a new proof.
Feedback & Complaints
Clients who believe that their printing product is not up to standard are encouraged to email us with their order details, and the nature of their feedback. Celestant Pty Ltd may also request a sample of the product be posted to PO Box 256 Northcote VIC 3070 or personally delivered to inspect. If a printing error has occurred that is not due to “The Client’s” artwork, then Celestant Pty Ltd will arrange a free reprint for “The Client”. Celestant Pty Ltd will not be held liable for errors caused by “The Client’s” artwork, delivery of the product or minor imperfections that fall within acceptable printing standards. Please note that Celestant Pty Ltd requires all feedback to be submitted in writing (email preferred). Celestant Pty Ltd values honest and respectful feedback.
